About me
Hey everyone! I’m Benjamin Alayo-Matos, a student journalist based in Miami, Florida. I’ll be entering my sophomore year at Christopher Columbus High School, where I’m involved with CCNN Live. Through my time in student journalism, I’ve had the opportunity to cover sporting events, edit videos, and create motion graphics for broadcasts and digital content. I’ve also competed through FSPA and the National Student Production Awards (NSPA), where my work has earned two Emmy Awards.
I primarily work in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, while continuing to learn programs like Blender and Cinema 4D to expand my creative skills. My goal is to become an NFL graphic designer, combining my passion for sports with creative storytelling and design.
In my free time, I enjoy practicing motion design, photography, playing hockey, and going to the movies. I look forward to the journey ahead, and thanks again for getting to know me!
